The latest edition of the WindEnergy trend:index (WEtix) shows an overall positive but noticeably more cautious sentiment across the global wind industry. In many segments, assessments have declined compared to the previous quarter. Germany and Europe are clearly losing momentum and are now only just above the neutral index level in several areas. While Asia continues to achieve the strongest ratings, momentum is also slowing there. North America remains the weakest region.
The WindEnergy trend:index (WEtix) is a biannual survey that was launched in 2018 for the first time by WindEnergy Hamburg, the world's leading trade fair for onshore and offshore wind energy, in collaboration with wind:research, the leading market research institute for the wind energy industry, to measure the mood in the sector.
