Working Together for the Energy Transition
Initiated by our partners WindEurope and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), Global Wind Day has been held annually on 15 June since 2007. The aim of this international day of action is to raise public awareness of the importance of wind energy as a key pillar of climate protection and as a driving force for economic development worldwide. Across the globe, events, information initiatives and interactive activities are organised to showcase the diversity, innovation and future potential of the wind industry.
