Welcome back in 2022

WindEnergy Hamburg Digital: Four days that keep on inspiring.

This year's WindEnergy Hamburg was the first digital event uniting the global wind industry to become a unifying media event in times of pandemic, gathering more than 40,000industry experts from all over the world in front of their screens. Many thanks to all who were present and contribute to set milestones on the way to net zero!

Premium content for a better world: From 1 - 4 December, WindTV broadcast a varied programme on the top topics of the industry in parallel via three live streaming channels from Brussels, Hamburg and UK. Under the motto "It's time to put climate first", leading representatives from business, politics, the climate movement, entertainment and sport came together to remind us all that the energy revolution remains the greatest challenge of our time.

From political frameworks and innovative turbine and hydrogen technologies to regional best cases and the involvement of local communities – the range of topics was broad and reached a global audience, with India, Denmark and China among the countries with the highest audience figures. Good news also came from the USA, which is sending the hoped-for market signals after the presidential election, so that AWEA CEO Tom Kiernan was able to give positive prospects for the promotion of offshore wind energy and energy storage solutions in a discussion with WindEurope CEO Giles Dickson.
